What we do

At the Center, consultants work with athletes to help them reach their potential through mental training. Athletes are given tools that are useful for their goals. There are a variety of areas that athletes wish to work on including but not limited to improving focus, increasing motivation, controlling anxiety, returning from an injury, and having consistent confidence.

  • Learn to control your heart rate with centering breaths
  • Understand how to handle mistakes with the mental flush
  • Change your thinking with reframing skills and positive self-talk.

Those who use sport psychology have a mental advantage over their competitors because they have better control of their emotions. This helps to remain focused on what tasks are important and not getting stuck on errors in the past.
